Birmingham’s tallest office block boasts 230,084 sq. ft of office space and stands 26 storeys high. The building has a BREEAM accreditation of Excellent and an EPC Rating A.
Flex7 were chosen because the contractor wanted a system that was simple to install, from a company who would happily provide technical assistance on site if needed.
Presence detection was required in corridor and WC areas while office areas were all fitted with DALI absence detection. Using flex7 Starter Distribution Boxes and prewired luminaire leads meant that the installation could be completed quickly and efficiently
a key requirement for the project was a flexible lighting system, as all areas will be subject to change on a fairly regular basis.

The bus station has been opened up and modernised to improve customer experience, and ensure a safer and more comfortable environment for users. A customer survey identified lighting to be once of the main features that needed improvement. As a result the entire lighting system was upgraded, including the addition of new architectural lighting.
The 2-storey block replaced an old and unsuitable building. The new school buildings offers spacious classrooms, an IT Suite, Studio. The building achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’.

The Hotel Room Energy Management System is an energy-saving option for hotels that uses occupancy sensing to control power. Rather than using a keycard system, which can easily be overridden with a spare card so that power is kept on constantly, the system detects presence in the room.
