Products simply plug together on site meaning that it can be installed in a fraction of the time that a traditionally wired system could be completed. Reduced on-site terminations also means less requirement for skilled labour on site.

Myth – CPR is no longer important
The requirement for cables to be CPR tested, classified and certified became mandatory in the UK in July 2017, and that legal requirement remains in place today.

Seamab School, Kinross-shire
Classrooms in the new building are all open ceilinged, meaning that the lighting connection and control system can not be hidden behind ceiling tiles. To get around this problem Dual Control Lighting Distribution Boxes are being installed in connected WCs (which do have a suspended ceiling) to discreetly share power between the 2 areas.
