The 20,000ft2 site, at 50 Bank Street, will offer GP and physiotherapy appointments, as well as secondary care services such as cardiology, urology, orthopaedics, pain and spinal, dental and maxillofacial, breast and gynaecology, ear, nose and throat, and carry out minor procedures.
The facility also features a range of equipment, including MRI and CT scanners, an X-ray machine and mammogram.
Flex7 supplied lighting connection and controls with a mixture of DALI and fixed output absence detection. Installing lighting controls with absence detection is an easy way to save energy and cut down on energy bills. Lights are only turned on when deemed necessary by occupants, but will turn off automatically in any area that is unoccupied, meaning lights in the building are never left on unnecessarily.
Corridors consisted of fixed output luminaires, that were networked for occupancy detection. The Ground floor and Mezzanine levels were equipped with flex7 Scene Setting Plates to allow pre-programming of up to 8 different lighting scenes. These scenes can easily be recalled by the user with the press of a button.
